This place is different. You are in the Pacific Northwest in the city known for being unique. From the moment you meet your Wing Ventures Fight Instructor at either the Portland or Aurora airport you'll know this is not a typical Norman Rockwell kind of flight school. The professionalism and experience is immediately evident.

The name is different. It recalls the wonder of being able to take to the air and and the exhilaration of touching down in far away places. It hints of how we incorporate adventure into your flight training.

The airplane is different. We train only in Cirrus Aircraft.
It is the state of the art in private aircraft. You can go from your first experience flight to an instrument rating in the same airplane. After you have earned your license you can rent our aircraft or we can help you buy one of your own.

The flight crew is different. Each of our Cirrus trained instructors is thoroughly professional. Our experience is why, from the very start, we emphasize real world safety in every aspect of your training to be a pilot. Our certified fight instructors have never lost their zest for flying and love of teaching others.

This is not a typical Norman Rockwell barnstorming kind of flight school. Yes, we have the offhand competence of Steve Canyon of the comic strips and the friendly skies of Sky King as well as the easy access of Flight Simulator X.
