Executive Academy courses accelerate your path to your private license or instrument rating with multi-day concentrated trainings.
Executive Academy Courses are our accelerated programs for obtaining your Private Pilot License and your Instrument Rating.
If you cannot disconnect from daily life do not attempt one of these programs.
Our vision is to develop safe pilots. These programs require personal attention and total immersion.
We prefer that you complete the knowledge test for the rating being sought prior to beginning the course. that way you will be able to concentrate on the practical application of the material, focus on your flying and prepare yourself for the practical test.
We also recommend that you take the course in two segments separated by at least a week or two of working with your new skills.
If you have time constraints that require that you achieve your goal in a specified period of time, this is a practical solution.
Our scenario based training and use of Ventures provide you with a practical approach that will assure you can handle the practical test.
We will do our best to help you complete your training within the times noted subject to your aptitude,weather, pilot and aircraft availability.

Executive Academy Courses
Time Required Totally Inclusive Price
Private Pilot License 21 Days (Approx.) $24,500 (Plus lodging)
Instrument Rating 21 Days (Approx.*) $21,000 (Plus lodging)
*Instrument rating can be accomplished more quickly if you have
alredy passed your FAA written exam and have maintained your
basic skills by flying at least twice a week.
Hotel lodging is available within walking distance of our facility at PDX. Should you prefer to enjoy the pleasures of Portland you can commute to the airport via MAX, our light rail system or rent a car. We will be happy to refer you to long-term lodging if you woud like to have the ability to prepare your own meals.
